CourseStorm's automatic email marketing feature is currently available for select programs and will be rolling out to all customers within the coming weeks.
With the automatic email marketing feature, CourseStorm will periodically send emails to selected students to advertise your program's upcoming offerings.
How do I enable automatic email marketing?
If your program is part of the preview for automatic email marketing, click on "Auto Marketing" under the Marketing section of your admin menu. Just click the checkbox next to "Automatic Email Marketing" and click the "Save" button. If you have any students eligible for marketing emails (see Who will receive emails? below), we'll send the first messages out within a week.
Who will receive emails?
We send automated messages to students who have completed registrations with your organization via CourseStorm or have had registrations placed for them by an administrator.
How often will students receive email?
Students will never receive more than one automated email marketing message per week. Emails are sent mid-week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and/or Thursday). We only send email if we believe there is at least one good match for the student based on their registration history.
Note that these emails will be sent in addition to any mailings sent via CourseStorm's built-in marketing mailer and any email you send with a third-party email service.
Which classes will CourseStorm promote?
We determine which classes to promote on an individual basis for each student. We use each student's registration history to determine classes we believe will be of interest based on similar class names, categories, and more. We also may include a select number of more general classes that we believe deserve promotion based on the classes' registration activity.
All of the classes we promote will be available for registration at the time we send the email, and we will never promote unlisted classes.
